For your loved one, safety is everything. Our sling's integrated, structured head support provides a vital sense of security, gently cradling the head and neck to prevent unsafe movement. The soft, padded fabric ensures there are no uncomfortable pressure points, just a secure, reassuring hold during every seated transfer.
We designed this sling with you in mind. The U-Sling shape allows you to position it quickly under the patient without the need for extensive rolling or repositioning. This saves you time and energy, reducing physical strain while making the process less stressful for both you and the person in your care. It's the convenience you need, with the safety you demand.
This versatile patient lift sling can be used with most brands and models on the market, including Joerns Hoyer, Drive lifts, Lumex, McKesson, ProActive, and many others.
If the patient's head tends to fall back... during transfers, or if they have weak neck muscles, the integrated head support on this sling is a non-negotiable safety feature. This is its primary advantage over standard U-Slings.
If your main tasks are seated transfers... like from a bed to a wheelchair or from a chair to a recliner, this sling is your most efficient tool. Its design is optimized for speed and ease in these common scenarios.
This is a "dry transfer" sling... made of comfortable, padded solid fabric. It is not designed for bathing or showering. If you need an all-in-one hygiene solution, consider our Full Body Mesh Sling with Commode.

Can the patient be left in this sling for an extended period?
For maximum safety and comfort, we do not recommend it. Patient lift slings are designed for the active process of transferring a person. Leaving a patient in any sling for a long time can create pressure points. This lifting aid is designed for efficient transfers, after which the patient should be comfortably repositioned.
How do I properly clean this easy-to-wash mesh sling?
It's simple. The sling is machine washable. We recommend washing on a warm, gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the straps. You can tumble dry on low heat, but air drying is recommended to prolong the life of the fabric. Do not use bleach.
What if I'm unsure about the right sling size for my patient?
Choosing the correct size is critical for a safe patient transfer. Please carefully review our sizing guide image and measure as instructed. If you are still unsure, our support team is happy to help you select the right fit. We offer a 30-day return policy for any unused slings.
Why choose a Commode Sling with an Opening over a standard full body sling?
The primary advantage is dignity and convenience during toileting. With a standard sling, the caregiver must transfer the patient, remove the sling, assist with hygiene, then re-apply the sling. With our commode sling, clothing can be adjusted and hygiene performed while the patient remains safely supported by the patient lift.
How do I choose the correct size for this sling?
Choosing the correct size is crucial for safety. Please review the dimensions in the product image before purchasing. For this model, the back width is 37 inches and the overall height is 35.23 inches. We strongly recommend measuring the patient to ensure these dimensions will provide a secure and comfortable fit.
Does this sling provide head support?
Yes. The tall back design (35.23 inches) provides excellent support for the patient's entire back, shoulders, and head, making it ideal for users who may have limited head or neck control
